The 5th edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026), hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, under the auspices of H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, will take place on 17-19 April 2026, in Antalya, Türkiye.
 
In the face of geopolitical tensions, shifting balances of power, rising trade barriers and mounting pressure on multilateralism, the current global landscape is marked by increasing unpredictability.
 
This year’s theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties” emphasizes the importance of anticipating and addressing emerging issues to be able to shape a better future. The theme underscores the need to stay ahead of future developments by identifying risks and opportunities, developing strategies and turning insights into action.
 
As conflicts remain unresolved, polarization grows and strategic rivalries expand, numerous critical issues continue to affect people all over the world. In order to address these challenges and work towards a more inclusive, fair and effective international system, the consolidation of international cooperation, dialogue and solidarity is imperative. 
 
ADF2026 will bring together leaders, policymakers, diplomats, academics, business experts, media and civil society representatives to explore how to best manage uncertainties and address pressing issues while preparing for future challenges. Through keynote addresses, panel discussions and interactive sessions as well as bilateral meetings, the participants will discuss global trends and regional dynamics, exchange views on possible solutions and share best practices.
 
The Forum will once again provide a valuable platform for fostering dialogue, restoring trust and engaging in stronger cooperation; mapping the path forward to a more peaceful, stable and resilient world for future generations.

WHAT A DAY AND WHAT AN ANNIVERSARY WHICH HAS BEEN SUITABLY MARKED BY THE TURKIYE PRESIDENCY. 


IT IS IMPORTANT THAT GLOBAL ISLAM MARKS INDEPENDENCE DAYS AS WELL AS KEY DATES IN ISLAMIC HISTORY ESPECIALLY DAYS OF VICTORY TO BUILD UP AND REGAIN CONFIDENCE IN ISLAMIC HISTORY AMONGST THE MASSES.  1453 AND THE CONQUEST WAS NOT JUST THE ACHIEVEMENT OF ONE YOUNG MAN AGED MERELY 21. HE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE  TO DO SO WITHOUT THE FULL BACKING OF HIS FATHER SULTAN  MURAD II AND INDEED HIS TEACHERS AND ADVISERS.  INDEED WITHOUT WHAT WE WOULD NOW TERM AN OTTOMAN MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX HE WOULD HAVE NO VICTORY.

HAVING SAID THAT THE MAIN MESSAGE TO CONVEY IS THAT WE CAN NOT VIEW 1453 IN ISOLATION FROM THE 1517 OTTOMAN VICTORY OF SULTAN SELIM 1 AGAINST THE MAMLUKES.    THIS ALLOWED THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE TO SOLIDIFY AS THE PRE-EMINENT POWER IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD AND ESTABLISH HIMSELF AS THE FIRST OTTOMAN KHALIF. WHAT MANY FORGET IS THAT THIS VICTORY IN 1517 BROUGHT THE SACRED RELICS - MUKADDES EMANETLER TO THE TOPKAPI PALACE IN ISTANBUL. THE COLLECTION SYMBOLISES THE KHALIFAL AUTHORITY OF THE SULTANS. THESE SACRED RELICS BELONG TO THE GLOBAL ISLAMIC UMMAH AND NOT ANY PARTICULAR COUNTRY. TO DATE TURKIYE HAS SAFEGUARDED THESE SACRED RELICS.

THIS FACT NEEDS TO BE READ IN ASSOCIATION WITH GLOBAL VISION 2000 HAVING DEDICATED ARAFAH DAY 1447 AS THE GLOBAL ISLAMIC VISION AND SOLIDARITY DAY. AND EID AL ADHA DEDICATED TO THE 3 HOLY CITIES AS THE  JOINT CAPITAL OF GLOBAL ISLAMISTAN WHICH CAN ONLY MEAN THE GLOBAL ISLAMIC KHILAFATE. 

ADDED TOGETHER WHAT WE ARE ARGUING FOR IS THE RESTORATION OF THE SACRED RELICS TO THE CUSTODIANSHIP OF THE REVIVED GLOBAL ISLAMIC KHALIFATE. THESE RELICS SHOULD BE HELD BY THE REVIVED GLOBAL KHILAFATE AND WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE SHOWN IN ANY MUSEUM ANYWHERE. FOR 0VER 100 YEARS THE KHILAFATE MAY HAVE BEEN DISBANDED BUT IT'S SPIRIT IS LIVE AND KICKING. IT IS TIME TO KICKSTART THE RESTORATION OF A GLOBAL ISLAMIC KHILAFATE WITH THE SACRED RELICS. THIS WILL BE REHEARSED.
