The origins of Global Vision 2000 in terms of evolution as an independent international catalytic Islamic thinktank has gestated and evolved over a decade ago. It is committed to a holistic global renaissance and working towards the Universal Paradigm shift. It operates on a flat network centric basis. In this context we are pleased to announce that we have developed an electronic library of material which exposes this Global War OF Terror as a fraud and the deliberate creation of Al Qaeda by Western secret services as a bogeyman. This entire war has been manufactured to demonise Islam and Muslims as the new enemy to replace the Red Menace of Communism during the Cold war era.

This false flag operation and accompanying Goebbelian Islamophobic propaganda justified the revival of imperial racist wars under the flag of Pax Americana. It was clear to us that our generation would witness the Muslim world being subjected to a new onslaught under the guise of the Global War on Terror aka the Global War OF Terror(GWOT). However, deeper analysis reveals that this war is deeply intertwined with the crisis of financial usurious capitalism which underpins the global economy inclusive of the Muslim world. The concept of an independent international Islamic thinktank has been recognised as urgent, vital and timely for the modernisation and reconstruction of Muslim societies. The existence of to name a few the Brookings Institution(USA), Hoover Institution(USA), Council for Foreign Relations(USA) and Chatham House(UK) speaks for itself. There also exist organisations such as the Atlas Foundation which finance thinktanks globally to promote Western capitalist neoliberal values and systems. There are sophisticated channels of finance from the corporate world which underpin these institutions. Furthermore the role of these thinktanks is influential in acting as a bridge between the academic, financial, business and political worlds. They have been responsible for developing the doctrines and practices of neoconservatism which have been taken up the Bush regime. The reality for Muslims is that not one parallel single thinktank exists in the Muslim world. We have documented the existence of various institutions but they are hamstrung by serving national, sectarian or political elite interests as opposed to that of the global Ummah.  

Furthermore a detailed look at the Muslim world from the 19th century colonial era to post war postcolonial 20th century era reveals various panIslamic initiatives to deal with the crisis. This crisis was accentuated by the collapse of the Mughal Empire in 1857 and the Ottoman Khaliphate in 1924 leading to the dismemberment of the Muslim world into artificial nation States serving Western interests. Islam was perceived to be under siege. However, it is clear that there was a lack of continuity in passing the baton of leadership from one generation to another. Only in our times can we really think in terms of the global Muslim world with advances in aerospace, satellite tv and broadband internet as well as demands for liberty. Only now have the tools and the political enviroment enabled Muslims to think and act globally. This is one of the outcomes which we are working towards namely the creation of a new generation of "Global Visionaries" inclusive of aligned nonMuslim allies who wish to create communities of collaboration in order to move towards an Universal paradigm shift. There is a need to create a new holistic,sustainable and just world. As Iqbal stated in the 20th century there is a need for the reconstruction of Islamic thought.      

However, one of the reasons that the Islamic world inclusive of the Muslim diaspora is facing a crisis is because of the secret war which has been engaged by both external enemies and internal hypocritical elements who have been silencing the Muslim intelligentsia. Let me be clear that by this I do not mean our religious scholars but , "committed" historians, sociologists,  philosophers, lawyers, teachers, journalists, IT experts, economists and industrialists.  Any community and nation which lacks a, "committed or Mutaqqi intelligentsia" is destined to remain a floating ship on the storms of history without a pilot or steering wheel.

We are approaching the 5th anniversary of events of 9/11 in 2001 in the USA. The truth about what really happened is still struggling to make itself heard despite many major steps forward by the Truth movement. As the truth threatens the doublespeak it is not surprising to note that in desperation the powers that be are resorting to launch more Terror plots by alleged suspects. There is a need to intensify efforts to expose the blatant propaganda warfare being engaged in by the authorities. Goebbels would have been proud to have lived in the UK/USA in these times as what is happening is a mirror image of events in the 1930s. To this end it is time that those organisations and individuals who are committed to upholding the truth and striving for justice join ranks and collaborate. It is really amazing to note the parochialism of many out there doing their own thing without building communities of collaboration. Until this is done NO ONE is going to achieve real change and the realisation of the Universal paradigm shift which is required in our times and era.
Since 2001 we have seen pre-emptive wars launched against Afghanistan,Iraq and recently Lebanon with Syria and Iran being threatened. Eid Mubarak and New Year Greetings

A new year has begun both in the Gregorian Christian calendar in which it is 2007 AD and in the Lunar based Muslim calendar it is 1428 AH. This is rare and it is worth checking when this last happened. This is certainly a good omen whence powerful symbols like calendars converge and blend as opposed to clashing. It is that time of year to briefly review the past and look towards the future. It has been another difficult year for Muslims as the Global War OF Terror continues(GWOT). Despite the US mid term elections indicating American unease and dissatisfaction there is as yet no clear plan for US withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan indeed the latest news concerns a possible US troop surge. The will of the US electorate needs to be respected as there was a clear demand for change of direction in US Middle East foreign policy. The Democratic party must not collude and play games by being trapped into the debate of tactics concerning the GWOT and US withdrawal from Iraq. The partially awakened US public has no??stomach for an illegal, immoral and costly war which is bankrupting the US Govenment and economy. The USA and Middle East can not afford another two years of insanity and efforts to impeach the President need to be supported for the sake of humanity. If this mess continues a dangerous gulf between the USA and the Islamic world will emerge, a radicalisation of the Middle East and Islamic world and damage to Western interests can be envisaged.
Also the campaign to demonise and isolate Iran continues under the pretext of Nuclear proflieration at the UN. With the admission by Olmert of Israel possessing WMD inclusive of a nuclear arsenal and Iran's need for peaceful civilian use of nuclear energy it is clear that the farce of Western double standards is leading to an impasse in the Middle East.
This last year has seen the continued demonisation of Islam and Muslims with the Cartoongate, Papal Speech and false flag terror scares especially in the USA and UK. Also the tightening up of antiterror legislation throughout the EU and other parts of the world.
The good thing is that Muslims are realising that there is a concerted attack at different levels is being recognised and resistance is gathering momentum. This can be seen by the response to these cultural attacks as well as a growing sense for Muslim unity especially between Sunnis/ Shias at a very difficult time in Iraq.
Also the Global situation reveals that the global economy is becoming even more unequal and unjust with various reports highlighting the concentration of wealth among the elite and the poverty of the masses. This is not surprising in a world where Might is Right and White is Right and wherein free market liberal economics prevails. Wherein the trinity of Globalisation, Privitisation and denationalisation rules supreme. On the otherhand all the signs are that of a systemic crisis of global capitalism will break out as the unsustainable multitrillion US debt, deficit budgets and draining war will and can only lead to a collapse of the imperial dollar. The crisis whilst being painful provides an opportunity for a new Global Breton Woods to take centre stage with a new holistic sustainable paradigm and world order as nothing else will do. Global Vision 2000 will be focussing on this area this year and plans to be involved in a major event taking this agenda forward. More details will be sent in due course.

DEAR GLOBAL VISIONARIES,

Recently we have seen several anniversaries come and go by including the 1857 Indian Revolt referred to in Eurocentric narratives as the Indian Mutiny. Delhi under the last Mughal King Bahadur Shah Zafar became the centre of the greatest anti colonial uprising in history but which on defeat was reduced to a battered empty ruin. The 19th century continued to be the British century on which the sun never set but it could easily have become a ghost like all other empires but sooner. Many lessons are to be learnt including the fact that most of the soldiers fighting for the Raj circa 70% were infact Indians prepared to betray their homeland for a ruthless imperial power and it's perks. The barbarism and brutality shown by the British victors is another black mark on the pages of British and European imperialism and the massacre of the genealogy of the ruling Mughal royal family is unforgiveable.
If this was not bad this year we have seen the commemoration of the abolition of slavery another evil which was live and kicking until it's abolition in 1807. The reality is that under globalisation and the postwar financial architecture of the IMF, World Bank , WTO and the imperial dollar acting as the global reserve curency a majority of the world's population still languish living on a fistful of dollars per day whilst the fruits of their labour are taken away to be devoured by the consumerist societies in the West. If this is not slavery I do not know what is. Even on more stricter definitions of slavery it is reckoned that there are 27 million slaves in our era. The bottom line is that this world is not working for the majority and is not designed to do so. The least we can do is not fall for the propaganda unleashed on us. There was also an apology which was establishment sponsored and issued in London at St.Pauls Cathedral for this crime against humanity yet it is hollow unless reparations running into billions is given to Africa to reconstruct itself and get out of the dire straits it finds itself. If Jewish victims of the Holocaust can get reparations why can't Africans?
It is clear that the City of London is not built on trade only but what is whitewashed is that from 1688 Anglo-Dutch originated financial usurious capitalism worked hand in glove with pro slavery and imperialist forces. The British have a moral responsibility to cleanse themselves of the crimes of the past and that begins by not colluding with the current illegal wars and status quo in free trade and globalisation which is geared towards Western interests.
More recent and closer to home has been the announcement by Blair of his resignation as the Prime Minister. Looking back at the media coverage and hype on Blair's arrival at No.10 it was expected that he would deliver us from the Thatcher era wherein profit came before people. Blair brought Labour out of the political wilderness on the basis of persuading the British people of what new Labour was not. As Tennyson stated "Ring out the old, Ring in the New". Yet the voters were not clear what New Labour was for. His ambitions for a more cohesive society, sense of community and remoralisation of the nation have gone with the wind. After 10 years the shocking truth is that we have seen his evolution from the promised messiah from Thatcherism who transmutes New Labour into BLATCHERERISM as there is not much to differentiate the two except the spin. More ghastly we realise that we have seen the evolution of a lawyer into a war criminal in power who is only leaving because of his unpopularity for misleading the nation into an illegal and unjust war. In particular he stated during the Iraq war's early days that History will forgive him for the war even if no WMDS were found. It is time to let these people know that history will not be forgotten in another whitewash nor will their crimes until they are made to account. Anything less will be an insult to the memory of those innocents who are dead, killed, injured, displaced or in exile. They can not and must not be dismissed as the collateral damage or price to be paid for phoney liberty and democracy which is a figment of the imagination of our media cheerleaders.
We also have now have Gordon Brown taking over the reins of power and he is already referring to introduce the politics of fear by intensification of the anti-terror legislation and moving the country towards a police State. With the SNP taking power in Edinburgh it will be interesting to see how Brown who is a globalist handles the Nationalist challenge. It appears that he will resort to waving the Union Jack and playing the politics of fear. That indeed will cause true Scottish patriots such as Robert de Bruce and William Wallace turn in their graves seeing Gordon Brown selling his soul to Mammon. In the USA we have seen the US Congress trying to exercise it's constitutional duty to cut funding for the war . Yet the Democrats have caved into Bush as there are no deadlines to get the US army of occupation out. More disturbingly Bush has passed the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential directive signed on May 9 2007. This would effectively place all governmental power in the hands of the President and effectively abolish checks and balances in the Constitution. If another,
"catastrophic emergency" occurs like 9/11 which is now deemed to be a State sponsored false flag terror operation by all truthseekers one can say good bye to  "democratic" USA as the unitary dictatorship of King George will be inaugarated. Then there will be a real struggle for liberty and freedom but will it be too late for the citizenry? This means that the Bush regime has put into place measures which could suspend elections in the run up to the 2008 US elections. We are not living in exciting but very dangerous times.
The militarisation of the USA continues and as the US economy is bankrupt it is only a matter of time when there is a dollar crisis and economic collapse. The point is clear that working within the democratic framework is a deadend and the sooner we learn this the better. That is not to advocate isolationism or some dead end militantism but other means of engagement with society and institutions needs the attention of the best minds of our generation and across communities. Also the sooner we break free from the official media a handmaiden of the State or less politely the media whores of the day spinning webs of deceit the better. Only with independence of thought and action can we address the unfinished business of the last century and break free from prisonplanet with an Universal Paradigm shift.
Meantime the Bilderberg meet in Istanbul discussing their plans for the manipulation of Turkish elites and Turkey into the EU and also the option of resurrecting modern Turkey as a successor to the Ottoman Khilafate but manipulated for Western interests and control. This would make sense as those seeking World Government would need a solution to the "Islamic question" as it is clear that Islam will not disappear from the horizon and it is making a powerful global reassertion. In the postcolonial post independent era it is clear there is unfinished business from the 20th century to be dealt with. The legacy of artificial boundaries and Nation States created by Sykes-Picot and Durrand in the greater Middle East/ SW Asia region needs urgent attention as it is clear that the status quo will not suffice.
The recent annual Milad un Nabi celebrations on the birthday of Prophet Muhammad reveal that we have the inspiration and model exemplar to regain our forfeited role in the modern world. However, what is lacking is creativity in interpretation and application of his successful model for contemporary times. This is the task of the intelligentsia and must be executed and more effort and resources need to be devoted to this enterprise.
The good thing is that Muslims are realising that they are being challenged in a concerted attack at different levels is being recognised and they are responding from Community Cohesion events locally to the OIC level focussing on Knowledge and Unity. Also the Global situation reveals that the global economy is becoming even more unequal and unjust with various reports highlighting the concentration of wealth among the elite and the poverty of the masses. As Blessed Ramadan knocks our doors this year I am pleased to note that the light at the end of tunnel is emerging. The Islamic tide is flowing in and is unstoppable. The NWO, Islamophobes, neocons and quislings beware the time of reckoning dawns. The fact that the Islamist AKP(Justice and Development party) in Turkey sweeped the elections and confirmed Abdullah Gul as the President and his hijab wearing Turkish first lady Hayrunissa Gul was a double whammy. The latter sent a slap to the faces of Islamophobes who claim Islam intrinsically oppresses women inclusive of the French Sarkozy secular regime.Who would dream that after the forced onslaught of Kemalism of 84 years that the Turks would vomit out the secular Westernisation diet. Dr.Ali Shariati whom I lauded on a global satellite Iranian tv broadcast recently referred to this sickness of Occidentosis. It would be wise for Muslims and truthseekers to undergo a crash programme of detoxification from Occidentosis.
The Turkish Global Visionaries are to be saluted for their achievements. They realise that when Turkey unfurled the banner of Islam it was the leader of the Muslim world and when it adopted secularism and imitated apishly the West it was the sick man of Europe. This commitment will ensure that Istanbul will reemerge as a centre of Islamic civilisation and power. The Turkish generals need to heed the times as the winds of change are blowing. The time to end kowtowing to NATO/US has arrived.
On the otherhand with the 6oth anniversary of the birth of Pakistan and India serious questions have to be addressed by the people and elites of Pakistan as the nation is at a critical crossroads. Chaos and turmoil threaten to split the nation apart. The secret deals being brokered in London and Washington need to be exposed and neutralised as they amount to an unholy political marriage between forces of treachery and corruption betraying the sacrifices of the masses. Secular democracy does not work there and what is needed is Islamic governance which delivers wealth distribution; equality before the law and where foreign interference ends. There is a need for a comprehensive change not AngloSaxon interference propping up corrupt regimes for their interests.
The Pakistani Global Visionaries need to take a deep breath and look at the mirror of history to realise the nature of the challenges confronting them. The legacy of the past has to be overcome and transcended. Can Pakistan's Global Visionaries step into history and deliver as the rewards for success are immense and so are the dangers from failure.
The nature of the challenge is similar to other postcolonial States and is embedded in the Indo-Pak subcontinent during the colonial period especially after the total brutal destruction of every element of Muslim power after the war of independence in 1857. The pro-Western military elite in Pakistan today are descendants of the ruling class cultivated by the British to form and operate an oppressive and exploitative state structure to rule on their behalf after they left. The Muslim part of this ruling class was shaped by the ideas of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. Khan argued that they needed to adapt to the realities of the new situation and acquire Western-style education so they could serve under the British as they had served the previous ruler. To achieve this, he established the Aligarh Muslim University with help from the British, promoting a modernist Islam that could exist within the colonial worldview. The result was Occidentosis of Indian Muslims. They produced in huge numbers civil servants, bureaucrats and army officers who were passive, secular, divorced from Islam, Quran, Sunnah and other sources, and cut off from Muslim history; they felt inferior to their white colonial masters- W.O.Gs. Allama Mohammad Iqbal expressed reservations about the dysfunctional and disjointed people being produced by Aligarh Muslim University, which provided the leaders of the Muslim League, who later became the ruling elite of Pakistan. Alongside this, the British also created an Indian military officer class, equally committed to the established colonial system. Later on the Pakistan army also joined the party in expropriating resources and oppressing people. Thus, continuing both the centuries-old tradition of Muslim malukiyyah, and under the British colonial influence, the secular post-colonial state actually developed as a brutal force for the suppression of people.
On the other hand, the puritanical conservatism represented by the Lal Masjid, meanwhile, can be traced back to the Dar al-Ulum at Deoband which was established in the 1860s by young ulama who had fled Delhi, previously the intellectual centre of Islam in India, when the city was destroyed in 1857. Syed Ahmed Khan, the ulama of Deoband faced the challenge of responding to the utter destruction of their world. Their response was to set aside the social and political elements of Islam having no possible influence in those areas under British rule and focus instead on personal piety and the minutiae of Islamic rituals, with a particular emphasis on cleansing Indian Islam of populist and folk practices that were regarded as having no roots in genuine Islamic teachings. The Tablighi Jamaat was established by a Deobandi alim, Maulana Ilyas, in the 1920s. Because of their intellectualism, Deobandi ulama established links with Salafi/Wahhabi groups in the Arab world, and the emergence of jihadist thinking among Arab salafis was reflected in the thought of Deobandi and associated groups especilly in Pakistan with the massive interaction of Arab money and mujahideen to the country during the Afghan jihad in the 1980s. The leaders of the Lal Masjid emerged to prominence during precisely this time, along with numerous similar groups and leaders who are active in Pakistan today. The limitations of their understandings and methodologies were masked by the natural emphasis on jihad, the element most relevant at the time, and the only one that their Saudi and American sponsors were interested in.
These two trends of Muslim thought the modernists represented by Aligarh and the conservatives represented by Deoband have had diametrically opposed political outlooks and understandings. The modernists were the driving force of the Pakistan movement; the Deobandi religious establishment, represented by the Jamiat Ulama-e Hind, opposed it. Since the establishment of Pakistan, the two have debated what it means that Pakistan is supposed to be an Islamic state, with the politicians arguing for a mildly Islamicised version of a secular nation-state while the ulama(inclusive of Mawdudi) demanded a more explicitly and proactively Islamic polity, even though their understanding of what that would involve was vague at best.
Thus in reaction to the oppressive state, and in response to the Afghan jihad against the Soviets, the Deobandi religious establishment was radicalised and then became extremist to achieve exclusively jihadi goals divorced from other Islamic goals, especially the unity of Ummah. Like the state, they also became closely associated with US interests. Thus it is ironic and deeply painful that both the oppressive state and the religious extremists, fighting for power, are tools in the hands of the West, serving the same master.
Any genuine Islamic movement promoting Universal truth and justice is always grounded in a good understanding of the processes of history. Hizbullah and Hamas are the best examples at present of movements grounded in Islam and history: so they are proactive, patient and not reactionary, and do not fall into traps set by others. Likewise the Islamic movement in Iran not only succeeded in establishing an Islamic State by Islamic Revolution, but has been able to withstand all intrigues,
boycotts, sanctions, coercion and infiltration, but has never reacted in a way that plays into the enemies hands. For all their commitment and sacrifices, the leaders of the Lal Masjid failed this simple test. As a result, their impact is likely to be restricted to damaging the existing order in Pakistan, without contributing anything to the emergence of an Islamic alternative.
For Muslims to liberate themselves and achieve self determination there is a need to focus on Islamic alternatives. It is always easy to fight against and destroy an enemy, but much more difficult to build anything new. A new civilisation requires its people to exercise reason and rationality, creativity and innovation, preference for substance over style, patience and tolerance of other views, free from fear and coercion, and many other virtues. If these abilities and habits are not present in the mindset of any person or movement, building a new and just civilisation is next to impossible. Global Visionaries need to command revolutionary intellectual content, resistance to Western domination and control of Muslim lands, ethical Islamic leadership, genuine and deep taqwa, and commitment to preserving and promoting the unity of the Ummah. Unfortunately Pakistan's current leaders fall far short on these counts.
As this article coincides with the 6th anniversary of 9/11 it is becoming clear what this Global War OF Terror(GWOT) is all about. All Global Visionaries need to take it as a matter of fact that the official narrative is a pack of lies where the victims are tried and condemned by the media and a blood libel and cassus belli against the Islamic world unfolds. The 9/11 truth movement conclusively researched and prooves this was a preplanned CONTROLLED DEMOLITION rather than a SUICIDAL PLOT by the NWO forces which has led to a pre-meditated first war of the 21st century. It has many dimensions to it but it re-imposes Western hegemony over the Middle East/ Central Asia which is set to become the battle for Eurasia. The war goes beyond oil and Zionism and more attention needs to be paid to the fact it is a pre-emptive Western strike to prevent Muslim self determination and political independence via an unified Islamic Imamate/Khilafate evolving into an Islamic bloc of nations which brings the last 500 years of Western civilisation's looting of the rest of the world to an end.
The recent speeches by the AngloAmerican establishment focusses on fighting the LONG WAR on Islamofascism. The reality is that this battle is not fought in the name of democracy but rather the NWO's DEMONOCRACY. Can Bush explain how he has liberated over 1 million dead Iraqis? This demonocracy is now engaged in a Goebbelian propaganda warfare against Iran as they are becoming desperate in Iraq where they appear to be moving from an unpliable centralised Iraqi puppet state towards a tripartite solution. They are fuelling both Shii and Sunni extremism and making Iraq become a front for the new Sunni-Shii cold war thus ensuring their presence in their bases similar to the Crusaders of the past. The ghosts of the Crusades have come back with a vengeance with the occupation of Quds/Jerusalem and occupation of the Middle East by client regimes and direct intervention - whither NurUddin and Salahuddin.
This now brings me to the real issue facing both Muslim and nonMuslim Global Visionaries namely the current financial meltdown starting intially in the USA. Since writing last time it is clear that the financial collapse predicted has been ignited with the subprime mortgage crash ending the housing/ credit bubbles. This is still being played out and we have not seen the results yet on the real economy in the USA and elsewhere. The post second world war Breton Woods financial architecture and system is finished it is over and out. Whilst the bankers, hedge fund managers, speculators and stockbrokers go beserk with the ongoing doom and gloom which is being disguised by the mainstream media. It provides an unique opportunity for placing the entire global financial system under receivership and bring in the changes. In this context I take my hat off to Lyndon LaRouche a real American Global Visionary whom I have not had the privilege yet to meet but admire his diagnosis and prescription to turn this collapse to recovery. This will be examined in depth hereafter.

Eid Mubarak and New Year Greetings

Dear Global Visionaries,

This is the year when the global economy has been plunged full steam ahead into uncharted turbulent waters. The situation is similar to a crash which has occurred with the driver having hit something big and nasty but there is a delay before the driver who doesn't even have a seatbelt goes flying through the window. The banks have collapsed and they are bankrupt and are in denial due to the vested interests of bankers and economists. The secular democratic neoliberal order is resorting to economic cannibalism. In this crisis there is an urgent need for the demystification of money and terminology and the false science of economics exposing the false religion of economics disguised as a science. We may have no other choice but to imitate Jesus chasing the Moneylenders from the Temple in earlier times. The religion of the day is the Free Market and Market economy which needs exposure. The situation we are in resembles the Middle Ages wherein the Priesthood spoke a language namely Latin which though the ordinary people could not understand was the medium through which eternal salvation and damnation was pronounced. Now what we have is the enthronement of an Financial Priesthood which has made Economics,the Market and Homo Economicus are Mammon which we all need to worship and be prepared to be sacrificed.
We are at the start of a financial tsunami heading for the perfect storm of a housing bubble, credit bubble and the decline of the imperial dollar. The subprime mortgage crisis merges into a "credit crunch," which itself merges into a solvency crisis of the international banking system. Central banks initially stressed asserting market discipline and letting speculators take their losses are now backing bailouts to keep the whole system afloat.
The illusion of a successful free market economy has depended upon the accumulation of vast amounts of debt, with households, businesses, governments, and financial markets all depending upon debt. The ability to finance that debt depended in turn upon the ability of the banks to turn loans into securities that could be sold to speculators, moving the loans off the banks' balance sheets to the investment community.The end of securitization will wreak havoc with the ability of the economy to finance itself with debt. The collapse will devour into the balance sheets of the commercial banks, the investment banks, the insurance companies and other financial institutions and the lives of people.
This has led to the dollar nosediving and despite 750 billions injected by Central banks is leading to a hyperinflationary situation like 1923 in the Weimar Republic in Germany and run on the banks. This isn't just a credit crunch but a bankruptcy crisis. As shown by the bailouts of commercial banks by the Central Banks. Bankers are frantically trying to waken a dead system which died in the summer. The banks are bankrupt. The banks are admitting to writing off billions of debt in the form of toxic waste and junk paper. Leveraged lending is discredited as there is unsalable financial paper and noone trusts anyone over whether loans can be paid back. Investor banks are being investigated such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Bear Sterns on whether they sold risky mortgage backed securities to investors globally in bad faith. The greatest casino economy established by Greenspan is over and out. The bubble is now going inwards and this artificial economy will impact on the real economy.
The situation we find ourselves in is complex as peeling the skin of an onion. There are layers of history underpinning this crisis. The Kondratieff cycle occurring every 60 years is on the horizon. Since 1987 printing money was injected into the economy under Greenspan which was intensified after the dotcom bubble in 2002-2007. Since 1987's deregulation there has been the development of volatile financial instruments such as credit derivatives, derivative futures and collaterallised debt obligations, SIVs. In which reselling debt is new and leading to casino capitalism. The saturation point of debt and leverage has arrived. The US is buoyed on 10 trillions of borrowed money which has created an unfortunate sense of prosperity. Prior to this was the dollar's move from the Gold Standard and Fixed exchange to the floating exchange in 1971 and the rise of the petrodollar i.e. the use of the dollar peg for oil trading. Since 1963 with the assassination of JFK there has been a criminal mafia in control of the USA. Underpinning this was the Breton Woods agreement in 1944 which established the dollar as the Universal reserve currency. Underlying this is the establishment by a criminal mafia since 1913 of the US Federal Reserve Bank which means that under the regime of the world's all powerful central banking system money has been brought into existence as debt bearing loans with Fractional reserve banking and fiat money. This racket needs massive exposure fast. The origins can be pinned back to 1694 with the establishment of the Bank of England in the city of London.
It is in this context that the Bush administration has engineered wars to corner the global oil trade in Iraq and Iran which is to forestall the demise of the dollar as the world's reserve currency. The US dollar hegemony is being maintained so that fiat money is traded for precious resources. Bush wars are about retaining the dollar as the premier world trading currency which requires the physical control of oil resources. The dollar is a fiat currency monopolising the trading of oil. 9/11(An inside job) and oil resource wars(illegal and unjust wars) actually signal the economic weakness of the USA. The American strategy is to retain the hegemonic dollar system by the military control of Eurasia. It needs to be noted that the 1944 Breton Woods was broken in 1971 when the dollar peg to the gold standard was broken. This was when the dollar was not fixed to gold but the printing press of the Treasury/ US FRB. The Imperial dollar is a political currency. The powerful financial elite realised that they could have more global influence via debt but that oil needed to be traded in dollars. Given countries need for dollar reserves US Fed/Treasury knew that more US debt will be bought to retain global financial stability. ie. the debts of the USA are the assets of the rest of the world which is the basis of their credit system.
It is only now a question of time before it loses it's status as the world's reserve currency. The oversupply of dollars is due to budget and trade deficits created by the offsourcing practices of US corporations has converted US GDP into US imports. There has been a consumer focussed growth strategy with low interest rates on debt and on a transfer of ownership of assets. The US has been living beyond it's means with consumption greater than production and foreign ownership. Cheap money followed by injecting new money will lead to inflation. Devaluation of dollars will increase trade deficits leading to falling living standards. The US financing wars(debt) and cheap money(debt) has led to oil price rises and has made the dollar peg to oil difficult to sustain.
The OPEC countries can not adopt the monetary policies of a reserve currency. Kuwait broke off the dollar and GCC States will break off the dollar to control inflation. Indeed the Iranian Oil Bourse is now scheduled to be officially launched in February 2008 to coincide with the 29th anniversary celebrations of the Islamic Revolution. It will trade oil, gas and petrochemicals in nondollar currencies. The peg to the dollar will break and oil trading will be pegged to a basket of currencies and oil will not be priced in dollars. Also Wahabbi scholars in Saudi Arabia have issued what amounts to be a fatwa against the dollar which the Saud ruling dynasty needs to heed seriously. There will also be divestment from dollar denominated holdings by sovereign wealth funds. It appears that the dollar will end up in the fiat currency graveyard. It has not been backed up by gold/silver since 1971 which has led to fiscal monetary crises. The arrogance of dominance has led to the current predicament in the collapse of the dollar.
It is clear now that the IMF, World Bank and the Federal Reserve are colluding to impose a stranglehold over the world economy and how the subprime mortgage and credit crisis is simply a means by which the global elite can bankrupt and seize America. The globalists manufactured the fake fiat money system to create artificial bubbles which were then popped so the elite could consolidate wealth,collect and own the tangible infrastructure of the world.
We are indeed at the end of history mentioned by Francis Fukuyama but the end of history will be marked not by the triumph of capitalism. The financier class's accumulated purely fictitious financial gains from predatory speculation are collapsing mimicking the experience of Weimar Germany in 1923. The predatory power of the financial elite has to be defeated via a coalition of powerful nation states and monetary reformers.
The real battle is between those who know the system is gone, and want to decide the nature of its replacement. On the one side are the forces which place welfare and interests of the people who want to put the financial system through bankruptcy, putting up firewalls to protect the general welfare of the citizenry, stopping home foreclosures and freezing the mass of financial claims until the wheat can be separated from the chaff. The speculative claims and fictitious values can be written off over time, while the elements necessary to protect the proper functioning of the economy can be protected, and the economy rebuilt. On the other side are the forces of the international financial oligarchy, organized around the Anglo-Dutch rentier-financier model. Their intent is to use the crisis to destroy the power of the nation-states and to restore the power of the empires, in a world dominated by imperial financiers and their trading cartels. To this crowd, people are but expendable peasants, little more than herds of cattle to be managed, sometimes slaughtered. What motivates the oligarchy is power, the ability to rule the world for the benefit of a small ruling class. In their view, the nation-states, in particular the historic United States, usurped their power, and they intend to reclaim it. They have, in fact, already made large steps in that direction.
This is a political fight rather than a financial one. The financial system is already gone and cannot be resurrected, and there are no serious attempts to do so. The moves by the central banks and the regulators are not intended to bring back the bubble, but rather to attempt to control its disintegration and buy the time to establish the replacement system. The money is already gone. London became the financial center of the new derivatives game. The City positioned itself as the casino, profitting from the gambling of others and, through its network of offshore centers like the Cayman Islands, it lured its rivals into the trap. Murdoch's launching of the Fox Business channel and the Wall Street Journal provide the City with a platform to undermine the credibility of U.S. institutions.
Pending which party wins the world would descend into a fascist nightmare: Governments stripped of what little remains of their abilities to protect their populations from imperial looting, corporate cartels gouging populations in an age of austerity, population reduction, and utter chaos with the City of London ruling over whatever pile of rubble is left.There is another option or PLAN B wherein the security and prosperity partnership could be the cover for a North American Union with an unified currency called the Amero created by the shadowy globalists such as the Bilderbergers, Trilateral Commission and CFR. This is another building block in their plans for a World Government. This agenda will be fully exposed soon in another editorial.
Having painted an impending picture of doom and gloom Global Vision 2000 remains available to render it's services to the restructuring of the new global financial architecture for the 21st century which works for ALL. The crisis exposed is a threat and an opportunity.

Freeze everything and have a Bankruptcy re-organisation here all Central Banks are brought under control of the National sovereign government. The present world monetary system must be placed under the status of bankruptcy reorganisation given the bankruptcy of the US FRB and a New Breton Woods Agreement to restructure the global financial architecture.

Global Vision 2000 will champion this as we are clear there is no other longterm strategic remedy and we need to continue on the path trodden no matter how long or strenuous it may be. Another warning shot has been fired by a band of visionaries and it represents the voice for the World's Mustazifeen - for all the oppressed and debt slaves in the East and West seeking freedom from a riba infested global financial and economic system. We are also pleased that our exclusive Satellite TV media partner ISLAM channel will be showing a world exclusive on the crisis with a special tv programme billed as "Market Meltdown". This can be viewed on SKY and ASTRA on June 12 th 2008 at 10 pm internationally.
The surprising ommission by Iranian broadcasters to cover this event has been noted. We have been operating on the understanding that Iran supports diversity of socioeconomic and political choices and Islamic self determination from the global free market riba infested paradigm. Yet when it came to the crunch it failed to support and report on this Universal paradigm shift event. Unless we are notified otherwise this means that Iran can no longer be regarded as a serious Islamic revolutionary player and becomes the joker in the pack if not part of the problem. For it was stated at the conference by an monetary reform expert that the Iranian Central Bank governor was reported in the Financial Times to be colluding with the legitimacy of riba by differentiating between interest and usury. Yet any benefit accruing to a lender of money is regarded as a form of usury and is prohibited. There is no such thing as a "usurious" rate of interest in Islamic law, because all rates of interest are usurious. Interest-based finance is not a pre-requisite for progress and would benefit the majority of the world's poor. If debt service repayments were terminated in developing countries they would find themselves richer by more than a billion dollars a day. That would make a very real difference in a world where as many as three billion people are each living on less than two dollars a day. As another leading monetary reformer argued if we do not defeat usury, usury will defeat us too. Whither Inqilab and whither the Islamic Republic of Iran?
It is important that the Iranian leadership makes clear where it stands and ends duplicity in it's ranks as the coming stakes are high.
Let it be clear that there is no Divine dispensation for Muslims to be spared HIS wrath inclusive of earthquakes and flooding afflicting the planet because of HIS anger at the ravages inflicted by the toleration of a riba infested global financial and economic system. As the Middle Nation the Islamic duty and responsibility is to show leadership in this field as it has been blessed with abundant energy resources and the injunction to have a debt free and usurious free financial and economic system. Global Vision 2000 is ready to join with other enlightened forces to radically transform central banking in every country.
There is also a need to engage with the mainstream global Islamic banking movement as it convenes a high powered five star conference almost weekly. But it has been argued that what we are witnessing is the cooption of Islamic monetary values and resources within the framework of conventional Ribanomic structures via legal contracts as well as glossy branding and marketing exercises to lure Muslims into it's embrace. Similar types have been noted to toss billions into the black hole of bankrupt financially usurious institutions such as Citigroup which should instead be allowed to go to the wall and pay the price for their indulgence in casino capitalism rather than bailouts by tycoons or taxpayers. It is also time that Islamic finance and banking is questioned about global monetary justice for it is being queried that in it's current form is it just an exercise to make more profits without addressing monetary justice. So a challenge will be thrown out to leading Shariah scholars who are heading the Shariah advisory boards of internationally orientated Islamic banks to justify their practices publicly. For they are responsible for legitimating financial transactions with HIS name.
There is also a need to engage with the global gold industry as it is clear that gold or bimetallic currencies have a vital role to play in the Universal paradigm shift. However, the dilemma here is that the globalists have ensured that they have a global cartel in place controlling the production, distribution and pricing of gold. It is quite important to be practical about gold and ask how easy is it to purchase gold as opposed to jewellery and where have national gold deposits gone after currencies came off the gold standard. These questions and avenues will be explored and the answers to the questions posed will be significant.
The current global financial meltdown represents a unique opportunity to offer fundamental change in how we finance the future of the global economy in ways that can unite peoples everywhere, as the basis of global peace through global justice. There is a need for democratizing access to interest-free new money for sustainable development. That is why initiatives by USA monetary reformers who are demanding that the Federal Reserve System overhaul their money-creating policies to conform to the "Declaration of Monetary Justice" is supported.The time is ripe to present a new global vision and call for a new Bretton Woods conference or should it be a Makkah conference to reorganize global money to empower ordinary people from the bottom-up. There is a need to reconfigurate the forthcoming Hajj 2009 in Makkah to be a launching of global consciousness for monetary change and justice. Otherwise Hajj will continue to be a ritual devoid of the revolutionary spiritual-political dynamism inherent in this unique reenactment of mankind's early history. At a time when the USA and the West is showing a clear lack of direction in this field and indeed is on the abyss of a prolonged global depression it is criminal negligence and abeyance to the power of Occidentosis if Muslims stay on course in the lizards hole. Those who mutter but what about the White House and Wall Street - exactly what about the White House and Wall Street. Ruling elites need to overcome fear and submit to only one super power defined in the Shahadah as there can be no room for submission to two masters. One has to be jettisoned. More will be stated in future on the concept of Manifest destiny of nations, the Primordial contract as well as Divine reward and retribution as the notion of Mankind being unaccountable and operating in a vacuum of freewill needs to be dispelled.
The Meltdown is gathering apace akin to a financial tsunami. It is time to connect the dots of Northern Rock,Bear Stearns,Bailouts, plummeting house prices and negative equity, fuel price and fuel tax revolts, food riots, starvation and hyperinflation as well as sackings by the thousands of bankers. It is self evident that the global financial system is in the middle of a violent spasm which has the potential to spark the worst meltdown since the Great Depression. Fuel, food and finance crises are accelerating disruptive change across the world with hyperinflation. This disruptive change is amplified by the communications revolution for the need for efficient and fair management of key resources. The age of ignorance is coming to an end as humanity realises that every action has a reaction and all production, distribution and consumption has an externalised and internalised cost associated with it. The present socio-economic system is incapable of sustaining six to seven billion people on the planet at median living standards of the West. This is going to be drastically modified as false expectations, mindsets and business models are confronted and replaced with entirely new and holistic ones. The global financial meltdown has driven investors to redistribute their funds from the securities market towards commodities such as oil, gold, grain and sugar. Food, fuel and finance shortages are now defining global politics in the near-term perspective, with the food trouble being a tragedy for tens of millions of people provoking large scale protest and upheaval. As the US dollar falls against other currencies, the price of oil and gold heads ever higher. It is not the price of oil or gold which is going up, it is the purchasing power of the dollar which is going down.The price of crude oil over the past 60 years has risen dramatically when viewed in dollars, but it is essentially unchanged when looked at it in terms of gold. It is self evident that the time for delinkage and de-pegging from the dollar has come. The destiny of the dollar is the fiat currency graveyard and this does not have to be the fate of other currencies. This issue now is one of political will, national self determination and sovereignty.
The capitalist system and mindset is failing in meeting ordinary people's needs for food, clothing and shelter. Banks are thrown a lifeline preventing their collapse and a run on banks at public expense. But clamping down on speculators and guaranteeing standards of living is only being reluctantly addressed. Capitalism favours the rich, privileged and speculators over the poor. Futures trading in commodities by speculators is not reflecting demand and supply. Speculation on basic necessities need to be banned. People are dying from hunger whilst enormous profits are accrued to multinationals such as Bunge and Cargill and speculators. Let us be clear that financial crimes are being committed by speculators who are creating volatility in prices. The poor are dying for the profits of the rich.
There are obscene inequalities which haunt our planet between and within countries. Priorities are not given to starvation due to the existence of the dominant paradigm and mindset. To expect current globalist controlled governments to solve the problem is like expecting the mafia to end crime. The role of global civil society has arrived and can no longer remain silent or marginalised. In the short term as the US economy is in an inflationary depression the imperial dollar will slide as long as the budget and trade deficits continue. Furthermore the system is dysfunctional as it is based on usury which creates a debt imperative creating an unsustainable growth imperative. Thus we recommend that individuals should minimize their holdings of financial claims that are denominated in political currency units especially US dollars. Groups need to get serious to organise for mutual support and dependence on financially usurious bankrupt institutions should be reduced.

There is a vicious spiral downturn and a terrible nightmarish economic maelstrom bringing  everything down especially in the UK and USA the champions of AngloSaxon neoliberal monetarist freemarket fundamentalism. The global financial system is imploding with "black swan" events and an impending 2nd Great Depression. Neoliberal free market fundamentalism and the global financial usurious capitalist system is built on the sand of a gigantic ponzi scheme which is self destructing and is on a bailing out life support machine of injected trillions of pounds by Government intervention using taxpayers money. This can only lead to social unrest if the powers that be deal with the symptoms with the same medicine as opposed to dealing with the causes. The road to tyranny lies ahead with either engineered false flag terror events or war imminent. Whilst we do not believe that the financial collapse has been engineered we do believe based on events and measures taken so far that the current economic collapse is being engineered and accelerated by the globalists towards the globalists agenda of a NWO World Government . Governments are being raped by the Protection Plunge Teams and Economic emergency councils to bail out bankers who have merely bought time with another year to recoup losses with recapitalisation of trillions of pounds at taxpayers expense. If this is not a heist and daylight robbery what is? Those who have been engaged in promoting a gigantic ponzi scheme need to be criminalised yet are Scotfree. We are living in a world which is upside down where might is right and white is black and black is white. When we refer to the need to demystify economics let us be clear that what we are saying is that the system is based on a fraud within a fraud within a fraud. It can not be clearer than that and the sooner this is recognised by all and sundry the better. Financial criminality and political corruption is fuelling a calamity. We have a Battle for the soul, spirit and body of Britain and the World confronting us. It is a battle for democratic not demonic governance and upholding the common public interest rather than a Bankopolis.

Gordon Brown and his spin machine talk about the Battle of Britain and Dunkirk spirit being reactivated to overcome the age of austerity. This is complete and utter trash from our unelected Bilderberger globalist saviour.  Let it be clear that this is Orwellian doublespeak and the people do not need to bail out bankers and suffer from the painful realities of deflation followed by hyperinflation. Mass unemployment and social breakdown with the loss of hope, dignity and pride is not the price which the people have to pay. I take my hat off for the sacrifices shown by the youth and people of Greece for showing their feelings that enough is enough. Either the world works for all or for NONE. We do not need to be drawn into a longterm depression and resort to military Keynesianism. The people and planet do not need nor deserve this. The system is ideologically, morally, culturally and financially bankrupt and needs to be brought under emergency bankruptcy legislation. We need Economic Democracy NOW. We need to liberate our money, banks and economy from bankers and from debt bondage. We need a JUBILEE year eliminating debt like in the Old Testament times. We need a spiritual and cultural revolution and the people need to seek repentance from the false religion of Mammon and consumerism which they have been worshipping and which is crumbling before their very eyes of buying now and paying later which chains them even more as debt slaves. The system we are enduring is based on an illusion and materialism as well as secularisation which is stripping the world of faith and spirituality so that people become sheeple to be directed by the dictats of the NWO.  We need to closedown the artificial economy of derivatives, hedge funds and speculation otherwise the real productive economy will be tanked. These guys need to learn the meaning and reality of a hard days labour to earn their bread and butter and this economically parasitical industry needs to be closed down with all its trimmings of an obscene bonus culture which is glamourised by a harlot mass media. If losses in this next bubble to burst are clawed from the real economy forget about this recession ending in 2010 as we will be trapped in the 2nd Great Depression and will be on the Road to Serfdom with the elimination of the middle classes and living in a NWO Dictatorship. We are at a crossroads and approaching the final or the finest hour of humanity.

We need to recapture the third way which Bilderbergers such as Thatcher and her false prophets Brown-Blair hijacked. It is a myth that there has to be a scarcity of money. If you believe this you might as well believe that humans are Martians incarnate. We do not need to borrow money and pay interest on the loans for generating productive capacity. Just cease the right of private banks to create money(they can remain as clearing institutions) and return Seigniorage the right to issue money; debt free and interest free by publicly controlled institutions into the economy for generating productive capacity. The M0 the money supply should rocket from the current abysmal 3% upto 100% overnight by HM Treasury and the Cabinet. The new usury free, debtfree nonexploitative socially productive paradigm economy needs to arise. If required there should be a change of guard at the Armed forces to ensure the military and secret services are loyal enforcers to carry out the interests of the people and nation. Britain needs to be freed from any banking elite's money creation monopoly and suffocating hegemony. This will also bring their plans for World Government based in the New Jerusalem crashing down. Let me make it clear as black and white the issue of the day is not class, race, North-South or Islam and the West/Rest wars but it is about the People and the Banks. This is a central and major component of the Universal Paradigm shift we have been promoting.

Dear Global Visionaries,

After immense and relentless efforts Global Vision 2000 has taken it's PARADIGM SHIFT into the heart of Parliament the belly of the beast during the, "New Vision midst the Financial Crisis" seminar during April 2 2009 this was followed by another hardhitting seminar on the "Global Financial and Economic Meltdown and the need for a Paradigm Shift"  on July13 2009. This track will culminate and be followed on through with the forthcoming major conference on New Vision and New Government. At a time when HUMANITY is under attack and when we are on the verge of entering the most tumultous period in our history the time of the contemporary spiritual paradigm shifters such as David has arrived to challenge and erase Mammonic Goliath from the face of history.  Let us be clear that there is no middle way in dealing with this crisis. At a time when the political and media class talk around the core issues there is a need to focus on the solutions to the problems based on a holistic diagnosis aware of the causes of the effects and the origins of the consequences. In this context Global Vision 2000 applauds the work of veteran Global Visionary Daud Pidcock  the man of the hour who has delivered a lifetime's work in the newly published book "The Crash of 2008: The Other Road to Serfdom".  Someone who has seen the coming Global Financial Crash decades ago but viewed as someone in the wilderness. Even more relevant someone who has a solutions package to transform the Global financial system. I was pleased to promote his book at the seminar in Parliament recently so that those in Westminster have no excuse about being ignorant of the alternative solution available to Government. This text is recommended for all Global Visionaries as opposed to the narratives by mainstream media/political commentators gatekeeping by offering their books as the official narrative on the crash rather than expose it's real causes and remedies. Just as Hitler emerged during the desperate Germany of the 1930's with his misguided policies it is clear that western nations throw up alternative leaders to offer hope and salvation and now Britain has the rightly guided policies of Daud Pidcock to show and lead us forward. People and nations only get the leaders they deserve and they will only get more of the same medicine next year with Cameron here and a relaunched Blair at the head of a EU superstate.

But the people need to awake up now otherwise we will be sleepwalking into a disastrous scenario. However, for change to materialise the people need to have a real desire for change and bethechange otherwise it will not materialise. This means that it's just not acceptable for people out there to sit on the fence. What are you going to tell your grandchildren what you did when the world fell apart? The level of apathy is also revealed when we witnessed the G20 protests in central London which numbered thousands as opposed to millions on the street. Whilst violence was unnecessary and indeed counterproductive as it enabled the police to justify controversial kettling policies. Unless Economic Democracy is demanded for by the people no change will come, the people have a duty and responsibility to support physically and materially those organisations advocating monetary and economic justice.

The Paradigm shift which operates at the macro level implies that you at the micro and personal level need to undergo a Mind shift. Copping out either with focus on palliative measures not addressing structural justice issues with focus on just charity, peace or personal development or at the other extremity with suicide, resorting to crime, or accepting fate and having more babies is just colluding with the status quo and is complicitness. Whereas we should be having a mass movement to understand where we as a society have gone wrong and astray. We need to have a fundamental appraisal of the false science of economics, flawed view of Homo Economicus and our debt based materialistic consumerist way of life underwriting free market financial usurious capitalism.  We are facing an entrenched bankopolis, bankers world government with superstates trampling national sovereignty, prolonged depression with a misleading dead cat's bounce, catastrophic unemployment, public spending cuts, another bubble bursting and "bank holidays". We will respond with another conference with the widest coalition possible and we would like all those interested to get in touch with us and volunteer to raise awareness and mobilise public support and support the event in whatever way both here and abroad.  

The global political economy does not make pretty reading. Governments are currently injecting trillions of dollars into their financial systems and the broader economy simply to cushion the fall  of equity prices, home values and employment rates. Several countries have already sought emergency support from the IMF and World Bank and several more may require extensive assistance down the road. These international institutions were neither designed nor equipped to deal with crises of this magnitude. These problems were never going to be resolved from within the parameters of a financial system so conducive to myopic decision-making and growth for growth’s sake. Given the awesome complexity of global challenges and the inherent urgency this financial crisis can be viewed as an Earth-shaking wake-up call and timely opportunity to align global systems and institutions with global challenges and complexities for the first time with new solutions which will require new values and financial instruments otherwise they are bound to remain peripheral and idealistically oriented rather than central and integrated operating principles. While many financial experts and politicians are focused on bailouts and the mainstream media is widely locked in to asking experts mundane questions about when the economy will recover, it’s time for global leaders and citizens to start asking the tough questions about what’s next for global finance.

The prospects of a global depression, the likes of which have never been seen before; a truly global war, on a scale never before imagined; and societal collapse, for which nations of the world are building totalitarian police states to control populations; are increasing by the day. The major global trend forecasters are sounding the alarms on economic depression, war, a return to fascism and a total reorganization of society. Through crisis, we are seeing the reorganization of the global political economy, and the transformation of capitalism into a totalitarian capitalist world government. Capitalism has never stayed the same through its history; it has always changed and will continue to do so. The changes are undertaken over years, decades and centuries. The next phase of capitalism is one in which the world moves to a state-controlled economic system of totalitarian capitalism. The global political economy itself is being reorganized into a world government body, consisting of one centre of global power where the socio-political-economic power of the world is centralized in one institution. This is not a conspiracy theory; it is a reality. Nor is this a subject confined to the realm of “internet conspiracy theorists,” but in fact, the concept of world government originates and evolves throughout the history of capitalism and the global political economy.  Historically, every financial and economic crisis has been used to further centralize power and concentrate wealth. The central banks of the Western powers will take the whole world to the pinnacle of financial despotism unless enough people wake up and claim their own "money power.” In recent months, the Fed has expanded its "assets" from about $800 billion to more than $2,000 billion. Those so-called assets are securities it bought from financial institutions and loans made to central banks in other countries. But the Fed refuses to name the specific recipients of those funds, while admitting that by doing so they are manipulating the value of the US dollar on foreign exchange markets. Where does the Fed or Bank of England get the money to buy those "assets" or to make those loans? Quite simply, they create the money. Unlike you or me or any other economic entity, the Fed or Bank of England  has the power to create Federal Reserve dollars by effectively writing a check against no funds. This is the function known as "Open Market Operations."

What is the economy experiencing now, and what is in prospect for the future? Despite unprecedented inflation of the money supply, we are now in a period of depression. How can we have simultaneous inflation of the currency and still have economic depression? It is a matter of where the money is going. While the public sector is being lavishly funded to continue a phoney Global War on Terror the banks are being bailed out to try to keep a dysfunctional and destructive financial system from collapsing, the private productive sector is being starved for credit. As a result, businesses are bankrupting, people are losing their jobs and their incomes, and lower levels of government are being squeezed because their tax revenues are shrinking. There is also the matter of the real estate bubble that was created by the financial institutions as they loaded up the private sector with a debt burden that was way beyond its ability to bear. Now that burden is being shifted to the public sector as the government assumes those "toxic" loans. Unfortunately, it is not the poor suckers who were lured into the debt trap that are being relieved, but the predatory lenders who laid the traps. So mortgages are being foreclosed at an unprecedented scale, people are losing their equity as housing values plunge, and more people are being made homeless.

 The recent emergency Parliamentary seminar examined the underlying causes of the financial and economic crisis and the need for a fundamental paradigm shift to restore stability, prosperity, justice and peace. The seminar shed light on the terrifying nature of the death spiral of the global debt based financial and economic system and the ruinous path towards servitude and serfdom. Parliamentary, interfaith, monetary and fiscal reform perspectives were shared and brought to bear in terms of alternative radical holistic solutions offering suffering humanity hope and salvation. This event took place at a time when Parliament is at it's lowest ebb and it's image has been tarnished. This event was an affirmation by grassroot coalitions of the urgent need for civic society to champion the values of public service and the common good and reclaim Westminster as the people's shared political space. The debate needs to move on from more of the same medicine with Global Capitalism 3.0 to a socially and ethically based paradigm and system.

The seminar addressed the following issues: Are we witnessing a ‘L shaped’ Great Depression rather than a ‘V shaped recession’? Do we need regulation, reform or revolution? How can monetary,fiscal and economic justice advocates connect with the people and political system? How can people power and national sovereignty be secured against the global financial oligarchy? How can the UK deliver on it's commitments on MDG? What does the City of London need to do to be the leader in global finance? Is Islamic finance a Trojan horse or Panacea? What type of paradigm shift is required? This needs to be developed further by asking How did we really get here and where are we going?  What’s beyond the bailouts and efforts to keep the global economy in one piece? Where do we go from here, not only to get credit flowing, but also to create a financial system that works in the service of all of humanity towards the effective resolution of global problems?  When will the price effects of hyper-inflation begin to kick in? How will the government respond to it? What will be the social and political fallout? What can ordinary people do to protect themselves from monetary and legislative abuses? These are the questions that beg for answers.

One thing is clear we cannot rely upon the government to act in the best interests of the people. Already, President Obama has moved to give the Federal Reserve even more power to control the people's credit and financial resources. As early as March 2008, then Treasury Secretary Paulson was proposing to "give the Federal Reserve broad new authority to oversee financial market stability, in effect allowing it to send SWAT teams into any corner of the industry or any institution that might pose a risk to the overall system." Ostensibly that would be done to prevent the errant financial institutions from repeating their sins of the recent past, but more likely it will have the effect of suppressing any private initiative that might compete with the financial cartel. The Fed is, after all, a private company run by the bankers for the bankers. A recent Reuters article is critical of Obama's move because of the Fed's lack of accountability. It is a plan that seeks to preserve at all costs the credit monopoly that exists under the central banking regime and to perpetuate the looting of the economy by monetization of federal government debts and other ultimately worthless "assets."

During the Great Depression, President Franking Roosevelt, upon taking office in 1933, declared a "bank holiday." He ordered all banks to close. Many of those banks never reopened and many people lost their savings. He also demanded that all Americans turn in their gold holdings in return for paper currency, which was one of the biggest robberies in history up to that time. Some pundits are predicting that another such bank holiday is being planned to put the brakes on price increases, once they begin in earnest, by depriving people of access to their savings, as was done in Argentina in 2002. Governments that mismanage money invariably use the force of law to prevent the sheep from escaping from the shearing pen. So long as people are completely dependent upon political money and banks, they will docilely accept whatever "solutions” the political leadership puts forth, and do whatever the government demands of them.

Fortunately there is a way out. The primary purpose of money is to facilitate the exchange of goods and services in the markets. But it is possible to mediate the exchange process without using political money as the payment medium, and without borrowing from banks. There is plenty of precedent for this sort of cashless trading. It involves a process of direct credit clearing among associated buyers and sellers. During the Great Depression the entrepreneurial middle class in Switzerland organized themselves into the WIR Economic Circle Cooperative. After 75 years, the WIR clearing circle continues to thrive with more than 60,000  member businesses trading the equivalent of about US$1.3 billion per year. The past four decades have seen the emergence of a new industry comprised of commercial trade exchanges, sometimes called "barter" exchanges, that act as "third part record keepers" enabling the same sort of direct credit clearing for  thousands of businesses in cities around the world. Efforts at the grassroots by social entrepreneurs to localize exchange and finance have been similarly widespread in many communities over the past twenty-five years. Whilst measures to properly reform the money and banking system by political means are strategic and longterm requiring mass mobilisation. In the meantime what is gaining traction to transcend the dominant system, is the materialization of voluntary, private initiatives that enable the cashless exchange of goods and services. As these systems continue to improve, proliferate, and scale up, they will provide a pathway toward a sustainable economy, greater local control, and a better quality of life for all.
